microphone input parallel to the audio output. I'm on mobile, but the Mac computers have a special headphone jack that does line in, i.e. Is this true? If I plug in a standard pair of headphones with an inline mic that was made for PC/Android would it work on the mac? I know it wouldn't work on an iPhone. Much like iPhone vs Android headset jacks. So what are your recommendations for headsets? I really loved having the wireless freedom with the BT but I guess it isn't totally necessary if it is the BT that's causing the issue in the first place.Įdit: The reason I posted this in a Mac specific sub is because I'm under the impression that the headphone/mic jack on the mac is different than a normal PC. I bought this BT headset to try and solve the problem but now everyone is saying my voice sounds like it is underwater/very bad quality. I had been using the headset that comes prepackaged with the iPhone for a while but people were complaining about an echo. I work from home pretty frequently and I do not have a landline, nor a cell phone with unlimited minutes, so I have to call in to conference calls over Google Hangouts on my macbook air.
